Biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or face unlock) is optional and can be enabled by the user after logging in. The app relies on the device’s built-in security features, and no biometric data is accessed, collected, or stored by the app.

4. Internet Usage & Data Transmission

  • VendorLedgerPlus does not require an internet connection for its core functionality. All ledger operations work fully offline.
  • Internet access is used only to display advertisements through Google AdMob. No user data, supplier data, or transaction data is uploaded, synced, or shared with any server by the app.
  • No cloud storage is used.

5. Advertising (AdMob)

Google AdMob is used in this app to display advertisements. Internet access is required only to load and display ads.

We do not collect, control, or store advertising data ourselves. However, Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data (such as ad views and clicks) for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes, in accordance with Google’s policies.

6. Local Data Storage

  • All core app data is stored locally on the user’s device using secure local storage.
  • Login credentials, supplier details, and ledger data are not shared with any third party and are not transmitted to any external server by the app.
  • If the app is uninstalled, all locally stored data may be deleted unless the user has created a manual backup.

7. Data Backup & Export

  • Users can create a manual backup of their data.
  • Backups are saved as a single .vlp file on the user’s device.
  • We do not receive, upload, or access backup files at any time. The developer does not receive, upload, or access backup files at any time.
  • Users may choose to share or move this backup file using their own device tools (such as a file manager or other sharing options provided by the operating system). These actions are fully initiated and controlled by the user.

8. Data Security

  • VendorLedgerPlus stores all data locally on the user’s device and does not transmit it to external servers. The app relies on standard Android security mechanisms to help protect stored data.
  • Users are responsible for securing their device. We recommend enabling device-level protection such as a PIN, password, or biometric lock (fingerprint or face authentication) to prevent unauthorized access.

9. Children's Privacy

VendorLedgerPlus is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • Add, edit, or delete ledger entries at any time.
  • Create or delete manual backup files.
  • Remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
